Going through and updating status of ideas according to our new way of working. New process works as follows:

1. When you post a new idea that we consider valid, we will label it 'Open to vote for', so that it can be shared with other users and start gathering votes
2. Ideas that are support-related, already exist in some manner or non-implemented ideas that are older than a year and that have not gathered enough votes will be Archived.
3. We keep some older ideas that we think are in line with something we are planning otherwise or that have gathered enough votes.
4. If there are duplication of ideas, we may archive one of them and keep another which can continue to gather votes.
5. Ideas that we are planning to implement will be moved into the category 'Accepted'

Hi Andrew, in your case I would recommend the following to be able to track the card without having to grant access to the board in your workspace:

1. Create a duplicate of the card you want to share with your colleage
2. Follow the card
3. Create a new Status (column) on your board and name it 'ongoing on different board' or something similair and place the original card there
4. Now move the duplicated card to the board your colleague does have access to
5. Navigate to the duplicated card and select 'share' to create an url and copy-paste it on the original card for quick access to the duplicated card

Regarding: “Create a duplicate of the card you want to share with your colleage”
This is just a workaround, I understand what you recommend here, but I would not want to manage it this way (as it would become untenable with dozens of cards like this for a project)

Best, Andrew
