There is no automated way to send the link to a document via eMail w/o activating version controll. All you can do is manually copy the link and paste it to your eMail editor. This is cumbersome. A function similar to the review function that auto-creates an eMail and inserts the copied link but does not activate version control would be great. Ideally this is intergraten in the context menue of documents and folders, e.g. as "send link via eMail".
Hi Stefan,
If you highlight the document and choose "send file by e-mail" from the toolbar you can choose to send it as link to all or some of the project members.
Happy weekend,
Karolina
Hi Karolina,
thanks for the quick feedback. Exactly, what I have been looking for. A bit hidden, though. We have been using PP for years now and n/o on our team found this functionality, obviously. I have seen the icon and moused over it, but never clicked it because it says "send document" and that is esentially what I wanted to get away from by using PP. Still good it is there. You may still want to consider my feedback a proposal to place the functionality more prominently in a future release. Quick win, I guess. ;-)
Thanks and a nice weekend to you, too.
Stefan
Thank you sooo much, I have been looking for a way to do this for months!
Follow this explanation and it will be fine:)
