I like the fact that I now can have my own shortcuts on the page "My overview" - it saves me a lot of time. But I have shortcuts to several folders named "Test" in different areas of our project. That is of course confusing.
I would also like to be able to change their names or at least add info to them, so I can see which shortcut leads where.
Also, I would like to be able to group them or sort them in the window/area in which they appear.
Hi Petruska and thanks for your feedback,
I also find the shortcuts very useful as I have far too many projects to get any sort of healthy overview.
There is another thread about the shortcuts here http://ideas.projectplace.com/feedbacks/222471-arrange-sh...
Maybe you would like to vote on that one as well and add your comment there?
Best regards,
Karolina
Custom names for shortcuts would be really nice indeed. Additionally a tool tip would be helpful showing the path within the project.
I think renaming shortcuts is a basic feature. I find it very strange this was not implemented from the start.
Agreed, this would be really useful. Drives me nuts having the same name for shortcuts... they are currently unuseable for me.
Great idea - over two years old and not yet prioritized. =(
An easy fix with siginificant added value. Please consider letting this idea bubble up to the top of the backlog.
Thanks!!
Try 6 years old. It was posted in 2009.
